A small family of four in Missouri enjoyed their hard working yet quiet way of life. The parents raised their son and daughter to be knowledgeable and confident with farm animals. The boy displayed a great potential with horses, and so as he grew he was given his very own foal to raise. But the horse was very shy and skittish. The only way he could get her to trust him was by sleeping in the barn next to her.
