Rihanna is an all-natural beauty as she steps out makeup free for a swanky Italian dinner in Los Angeles
After debuting her Savage X Fenty Vol. 2 collection on Amazon last month, Rihanna has been enjoying some downtime.
The 32-year-old superstar was spotted out makeup-free for dinner at celebrity favorite, Giorgio Baldi, in Santa Monica on Tuesday night.
Rihanna embraced the cool father weather in California in a custard colored faux fur statement coat and ripped jeans.
The hitmaker was a walking advertisement for her Fenty Skin collection as she glowed without a stitch of makeup on on her face.
RiRi did have a deep ruby lip tint washed across her lips and her long braided hair was pulled back off of her face.
Recently, Rihanna has been spotted out and about in the Santa Monica area following a busy few months.
Her newest lingerie collection debuted at a star-studded fashion showcase on Amazon Prime in October.
Then she was spotted on the set of what appears to be a music video, as her ninth studio album inches closer to completion.
She was seen leaving and returning to the NoMad Hotel in LA, following an 11-hour shoot, and a sign at the entrance displayed the ‘set rules’ for COVID-19 precautions.
Rihanna’s busy work schedule didn’t stop her from her passion for activism. The music icon was vocal about the need to count all the votes in the contentious U.S. presidential election.
She recently devoted her Instagram grid to supporting the vote count and, subsequently, the election of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris to the presidency and vice presidency.
Meanwhile, Rihanna’s fans are clamoring for her to release her highly anticipated new album.
She last released her eighth album Anti back in 2016, and has since mostly played coy about her new music.
The Ocean’s 8 actress revealed back in February that she was back in the recording studio, making music with Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo, who make up the producing duo The Neptunes.
Rihanna most recently touched base with the Associated Press this month about the state of the R9 album, after holding ‘tons of writing camps’ for new songs.
She explained: ‘What do I feel personally? What do I want to put out, and as an artist, how do I want to play it with my art? How do I want to interpret that? How do I want to reimagine it? Because it’s been so structured before.
‘You do pop, you did this genre, you do that, you do radio, but now it’s just like, what makes me happy? I just want to have fun with music. Everything is so heavy. The world that we live in is a lot. It’s overwhelming every single day. And with the music, I’m using that as my outlet.’
The Love On the Brain artist added: ‘I want to go on tour but I can’t, so I’m stuck with music that I love, and now I’m trying to figure out how I can even create visuals to that. That’s a challenge as well. But I love challenges so, you know, I’m gonna get it done.
Her temporary absence from music has come as she focuses on her fashion house Fenty, which helped her earn her first Fashion Award last year.
